PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup (AKT)
AKT was first established as PT Swabara Guna on 11 September 1992, and changed its name to PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup on 25 February 1998. It was granted a 3rd generation Coal Contract of Work (CCOW) by the Indonesian Government on 31 May 1999. AKT was incorporated as a domestic owned company (PMDN) and subsequently became a foreign owned company (PMA) in 2005, AKT reverted to PMDN status in 2008 as there are no further requirements for divestment. BLEM gained full management control of AKT through the acquisition of 30% of the shares of the company in October 2007. It acquired a further 70% of AKT shares in December 2009.
PT Borneo Mining Services (BMS)
BMS was established as PT Batubara Tenggara Borneo on 4 August 2006, focusing on acquiring and renting heavy equipment for mining exploration and operations. The company was incorporated into BLEM following the decision to undertake mining activities internally at AKT.
PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk. (BORN)
BLEM has hand son expertise and experience, as well as a successful track record, in developing green-field assets, and proven capabilities in operating and expanding producing mines.
BLEM may also target acquisitions of producing mines and additional green-field deposits or concessions for diversification and growth outside of AKT.
